Polyurethane potting compound prepared with castor oil and biuret of dicyclohexyl methane diisocyanate (H-12-MDI) has appreciable dimensional stability. Degradation is noticed after initial autoclaving. However, crosslinking is noticed after repeated autoclaving providing stability to the present potting compound.Chemistry
