METHODS: Thirty subjects with chronic stroke participated in the study. The subjects were evaluated with the trunk impairment scale (TIS) and Tinetti balance scale (TBS). RESULT: Spearman's correlation showed highly significant correlation between TIS and TBS scores (rho = 0.911). CONCLUSION: The study reveals that the trunk impairment and balance in subjects with stroke are positively correlated with each other.Neurosciences & Neurology; RehabilitationCorrelation of trunk impairment with balance in patients with chronic stroke
