dc.description.abstract | Endothelins are a family of structurally related vasoactive peptides synthesized by selected endothelial and epithelial cells. Endothelin is the most potent vasoactive biomolecule known to date. Recent evidences indicate that it is involved in several physiological and pathophysiological events. It will not be too long before the peptide stakes its claim to be the molecule of the decade. | |
