dc.description.abstract | The effect of changing the tertiary amine accelerator on the physical properties of visible light cured dental composites is described in this paper. Three aromatic and two aliphatic tertiary amines were used in this study. The diametral tensile strength and Vickers microhardness of the cured specimens were determined. The presence of highly active aromatic amines like dimethyl p-toluidine (DMPT) and dimethyl amino phenethyl alcohol (DMAPEA) gave better properties for the cured composite compared to diethanol p-toluidine (DEFT). | |
