dc.description.abstract | Aneurysms arising from anterior inferior cerebellar artery-posterior inferior cerebellar artery (AICA-PICA) variant are exceedingly rare. We report two cases of distal AICA-PICA variant aneurysms and discuss their surgical management with emphasis on the higher risk for perforator artery injury. The etiopathogenesis of these rare aneurysms at non-branching sites remains elusive. | |
