dc.description.abstractPercutaneous transluminal angioplasty (PTA) of steno-occlusive lesions in the supra-aortic arch vessels in aortoarteritis is associated with suboptimal results and higher restenosis rates, particularly in those with diffuse disease. We report a patient with aortoarteritis who presented with critical stenosis of the right common carotid artery, right subclavian artery and 50 percent stenosis of the brachiocephalic artery. Left common carotid and left subclavian arteries were occluded and were reforming via collaterals. Cutting balloon PTA of right subclavian, right common carotid and brachiocephalic arteries was done with good anatomic patency and clinical results on six month follow up.
