Diffusion and absorption of a few representative lipids in amorphous segmented polyurethanes subjected to stretching to various elongations were carried out. Stretching was found to influence the extent of the absorption of lipids. The variation in absorption was traced to the morphological alterations like phase mixing induced by stretching.
